ScoutDecision Matchmaking - Everything You Need to Know About the Football Networking Event
The ScoutDecision Matchmaking brings together professional clubs, licensed agents, and scouts for a full day of online 1-on-1 meetings. Many participants still ask “How does it actually work?” or “How can I join?”, so here is a simple summary of how it works.
🧩 Who Can Participate
ScoutDecision Users
If you already use ScoutDecision, the Matchmaking event appears automatically inside Connect → Matchmaking. There you will find your full agenda, the Zoom link, and all event instructions. No additional registration is required.
Professional Clubs (non-users)
Clubs that are not yet using ScoutDecision may join the event by registering through the official event page:

Once confirmed, they receive login details to access the platform, where their Matchmaking agenda and meeting management tools will be available.
Agents / Agencies (non-users)
To participate, agencies must either subscribe to the Connect plan or invite a new club to register and reference them in the form. In this case, the club must also complete its registration so the agency can be approved. Agencies use the same registration form as clubs and will also receive login details to access their agenda and event tools.
📋 How Participation Works
Each participant receives a personal agenda located inside Connect → Matchmaking in the platform. This is where all meetings are organised and managed. The Zoom link for the event is also displayed there.
Every agenda slot allows you to invite up to three participants. Meetings are only confirmed when both sides accept. Once confirmed, both parties gain access to each other’s contact details so they can coordinate if needed.
If the proposed time is not convenient, the invitee can suggest a new one using the yellow rescheduling icon. If both sides agree on a new time outside the system, the original slot should be cancelled so another meeting can be scheduled there.
⏰ All agenda times are shown in CET (Central European Time). Participants must convert these times to their local timezone to avoid confusion.
🎥 How the Event Runs
The event takes place through a single Zoom link accessed from inside the Matchmaking tab. When the time of a confirmed meeting arrives, participants are automatically moved into a private breakout room. After the meeting ends, they return to the main room.
Participants without a meeting at that time may remain in the main room and join the open networking area, speaking freely with others until their next scheduled meeting. Everyone may enter or leave the Zoom call at any time according to their availability.

Non-users automatically receive temporary access to the platform once their registration is approved. With these login details, they can view and manage their agenda, access the Zoom link, prepare meetings, and explore essential areas of ScoutDecision — including scouting tools, structured workflows, Connect features, and interaction with freelance scouts and future events.

For Scouts & Analysts
Scouts and analysts gain direct access to clubs and agencies, sharing their work without relying on external contacts or scattered communication channels.

Unlike event-only platforms, ScoutDecision goes beyond introductions. Participants use the same all-in-one platform to evaluate players, organise scouting, follow up after meetings, manage recruitment workflows, and maintain communication throughout the season. 📝 Registration
Users
ScoutDecision users do not need to register. Their access, agenda, and Zoom link are automatically available inside Connect → Matchmaking.
Non-Users
Non-users can register through links shared privately or through the public event page. After being approved, they receive login details to access the platform, where they will find the agenda, Zoom link, and all event tools. Agencies inviting a club must ensure that the club completes its registration.
