Roda JC Kerkrade e ScoutDecision avviano una collaborazione a lungo termine per la gestione dello scouting
ScoutDecision is pleased to announce a long-term collaboration with Dutch professional football club Roda JC Kerkrade, supporting the club's scouting and recruitment operations through a centralised football management platform.
Based in Kerkrade, the Netherlands, Roda JC has a long history in Dutch football, including decades in the Eredivisie, two KNVB Cup titles and appearances in European competitions.
Through this collaboration, ScoutDecision supports the club's scouting department in organising player information, coordinating recruitment activities and maintaining a structured approach to identifying and evaluating talent.
Supporting Roda JC's Scouting and Recruitment Operations
Recruitment is an ongoing process that involves much more than identifying potential signings.
Throughout a season, scouting departments assess players across different competitions, follow their development, compare potential targets and prepare for upcoming transfer windows.
For a club like Roda JC, having a clear overview of this work helps the department make better use of the information gathered by its scouting team.
ScoutDecision provides tools to support these activities, including player databases, scouting evaluations, recruitment tracking and squad planning.
By bringing these processes into a shared working environment, the platform helps football departments maintain continuity between observations, internal discussions and recruitment decisions.
A Flexible Approach to Football Management
No two football clubs approach scouting and recruitment in exactly the same way.
Some departments prioritise detailed qualitative assessments, while others rely more heavily on structured evaluation criteria, specific recruitment profiles or different approval processes.
ScoutDecision is designed to accommodate these differences, allowing clubs to build workflows around their existing methodologies.
This includes configuring scouting templates, evaluation criteria, player databases and other tools to suit the way each organisation operates.
The goal is straightforward: give football professionals the tools they need without forcing them into a rigid way of working.
Roda JC's Experience with ScoutDecision
Dave Kleinrensink, Head of Player Recruitment at Roda JC, shares his experience working with the platform:
“ScoutDecision helps us structure and keep track of our scouting reports, shadow lists and planning in one central system, used by both our scouts and management. The flexibility to customise the platform to our specific needs is a real strength. On top of that, the direct communication and quick implementation of any requested adjustments make working with ScoutDecision a very pleasant experience.”

Looking Ahead
Our collaboration with Roda JC is built around a shared commitment to making scouting and recruitment processes more organised and efficient.
As the club's needs evolve, we'll continue working closely with its team to ensure the platform remains useful in their day-to-day operations.
For us, that's an important part of any long-term partnership: understanding how people actually work, listening to their feedback and making improvements that matter to them.
We're happy to have Roda JC as part of the ScoutDecision community and look forward to continuing our work together.
