Find your niche (and get really good at it) → It might be youth scouting, youth coaching, or strength & conditioning of ageing players, but you need to have your microcosmos of expertise. → If you want to network, it means you want to learn from others and share value with others, hence you need to know what they don't - that's your niche. 2. Build an authentic online presence → Don't try to "fake it until you make it" in your profile → Share your learnings, your mistakes and your achievements as you go → Post extensively about your niche. Truly inspire others to want to know more about it 3. Network In-Person → Online is great. Most of the great people I've met in football, I've met them online. → But there is something about going the extra mile to meet someone in person that will make the difference in the relationship 4. Introduce mutual connections → If you know A and B, and think they could benefit from knowing each other, then BY ALL MEANS, introduce them to each other and watch as their relationship grows as well as their appreciation for your gesture → This is one of the most underrated gestures regarding relationship building. 5.
